Biography
I am currently a research associate in the Centre for Sustainable Road Freight. My research focuses on measuring and modelling the environmental impacts of transport. Previously, I was an EPSRC Doctoral Prize fellow affiliated to the Energy Efficient Cities Initiative.
My PhD research focussed on evaluating aircraft emissions and led to updated estimates of aircraft black carbon emissions, which impact upon the climate and air quality. With researchers at MIT, we evaluated the public health impacts of airports in the UK today and under several airport expansion scenarios.
